Last but not Least

Can you believe it, two post in one month! yay me.
Robby, Robby , Robby,
I can't believe how time flies, It seems like yesterday.
I have to admit I was less than excited to find out that I was pregnant, I thought that I was much to old to be having another baby,I was the ripe old age of 34.
I remember the day It dawned on me that I might be expecting.
I had been sick for a few weeks and I was extremely tired from preparing for girls camp. While loading up my stuff the thought popped into my head I hadn't once thought of it before. suddenly I felt sicker..
Off to camp I went, I almost made it the whole time without any breakdowns on the last night I was so sad because I new that it would bethe end of YW camp for a while.Did I think they would keep me in forever? Yes. I told a good friend my suspensions and she started telling me all the people who had had a latter baby. The afternoon we got home from camp she showed up on the door step with the pregnancy test and I called her a short time later with the results.
That night we went to dinner at Denny's with the kids and right before I had told Charlee of my suspicions. Boy was he ever proud, which totally ticked me off. I was expecting him to be as devastated as I was. Charlee ask the kids if they would be excited to get a baby and of course the response was complete hysteria.
Could know one feel my pain.
Yes!!! there was one person!
Charlee broke the news to my mom a few months later after I refused to tell her.
He simply said one day while working on her house," Your daughters pregnant" and she's not very happy about it.
My mom could feel my pain and I love her so much for the sympathy she gave me.
I couldn't talk about it without crying until I was about 7 months. And of course Charlee and the kids rejoiced the whole time..
On March 12th at 7:10a.m. a beautiful baby boy was born. when we called grandma to tell her I talked to her on the phone and she told me that I sounded different, and that she was glad I was finally ok.
Golden Robert McNeill
Golden after my dad and charlee's Grandfather and Robert after my cousin Bob and Charlee's Mothers maiden name Roberts.
Robby pretty much takes care of himself. He's always been very easy going
All of the kids loved taking care of him for at least two months.

Robby loves spending time with friends

Robby's baptism was a real special day, he had first asked Jeremy to baptize him but then had second thoughts when Jer threatend to hold him under. So, Dewey Baptized him and Charlee Confirmed him.

Robby loves to be outside and be active

He loves scouts

On His Birthday last Friday we took him and a few friends Ice skating, Now that's entertainment. They had the whole rink to themselves.

Robby, Ammon, Peyton,and Seth

Needless to say because of his health issues I am just a tad bit over protective with him, and he doesn't appreciate it sometimes. Ok all the time.
What a blessing this little guy has been to our family. I can't imagine my life without him.

  5. Robbie is so cute! I remember the day I found out....we were at the pool swimming and your family happened to be there too. Charlee was just as giddy as could be when he told Rick and I the news. You for sure you were NOT that thrilled but as they say...all's well that ends well! And what would life be without your sweet Robbie! Sad thought!
